My Life Plan Snapshot

This week you will complete work on your Younique Life Plan Snapshot as the capstone project of your study of Will Mancini’s Younique process for designing the life that God dreamed for you. Last week you dreamed about your Beyond-the-Horizon Vision for three years from now. This week you will develop four objectives to achieve your Background Vision in one year from now; your Midground Vision of a single goal for the next ninety days; and your Foreground Vision composed of four NOW-Rhythms. See Figure 16.1 on p. 182 of Younique to see how these three visions fit within your overall Vision Frame.

Background Vision – Four One-year Objectives – “One-year objectives complement your three-year dream to compose your long-range vision. As we shift our focus two years nearer in time, we move from the inspirational to the informational, from the pictorial to the practical. One-year objectives are problems to solve, steps you’re eventually going to have to take. In other words, one-year objectives are the four strategic hows you have to have to reach your one visionary what” (Younique, 182). Use the five step process outlined by Mancini to develop the four one-year objectives of your Background Vision (Younique, 183-5). Now share your four one-year objectives with us.

Midground Vision – Ninety-Day Goal – Using the three sets of questions provided by Mancini, develop your Ninety-Day Goal statement (Younique 193-4). Develop “. . . a goal that’s ‘S.M.A.R.T.’: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant (to the long range), and Time-Based” (Younique, 194). Share your Ninety-Day Goal with us.

Foreground Vision – Four NOW-Rhythms – “Each NOW-rhythm is a habit to add to your life for the next ninety days to advance you toward your destination. Whether you continue the intentional routine after those three months is up to you—the purpose of the habit or rhythm is simply to give you traction where you need it right now. Think of ‘NOW’ as an acronym: your Next Opportunity to Win” (Younique, 197). Develop your four NOW-Rhythm statements using the process outlined by Mancini (Younique, 197-200). Tie each NOW-Rhythm to your Ninety-Day Goal, to a Life Step, to a One-Year Objective, or to multiple elements of your vision. Share your four NOW-Rhythms and for each one indicate how you have tied them into your vision.

You have now completed all the steps necessary to complete your Younique Life Plan Snapshot Template.
